Aspire to Inspire

Hey! It’s me again.

Aspire…Inspire. Why are these important to us today? Well, it’s because we shall be learning to aspire to inspire.

Now a lot of us aspire to be many things in life and we also have people and/or things that inspire us. But at the end of it all, one of the most important things is to become so good at what we do (hopefully positive) that we become role models to others.

Yes. Some people actually get so good at what they do that they become role models and mentors to others and this can either be good or bad depending on how things go after that. What do I mean? Sometimes, these people who seem so perfect, flawless  and surreal to us actually make mistakes and fall on their faces because they are just as human as the next person. Thus, although it is quite good to have these people as inspiration in the process of attaining our goals, we shouldn’t forget that they are also prone to errors sometimes and we should also not judge them for their so-called flaws. Instead, we can support them in getting back on their feet, in prayers at least, if we don’t know them personally.

Back to the matter at hand though, instead of just being a follower all your life, you should aim to eventually become even better than those (leaders) you learnt from so that you can also inspire others while keeping in mind that nobody is perfect.

King David said “I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts” in Psalm 119:99-100.

This just means that, God is the ultimate role model and mentor so in order to lead well, we need Him. In other words, aspire to inspire, yes. But, you can only properly do this with the help of God and obedience to His word. And His word is the Bible. Meditate on it and keep the precepts outlined in it.

That’s how Grace sees it.
