HIM:
I want to feel your touch, the warmth of your flesh on mine
I want to hear your voice and the rhythm it brings
It sounds like Beethoven when he’s on the keys
Your presence is divine, your aura screams modesty
And I’ll worship at your feet if you were a deity
Oh yes, you are a goddess of beauty and peace
I mean your eyes say a thousand words, ones your lips don’t speak
And in them I found shelter, a strong tower where my fragile being could be safe
Your essence isn’t tribal, not bound by space nor time
Its ever present, never lost in the chaos of this world
So for you I’ll wait an eternity and a day more
HER:
I want to hold your hand, to taste your lips on mine
I want to play the tune, that leads your feet to dance
You feel like a dream every single time
But the way you look at me gives me faith in what I see
And if you were a deity, my praise would never end
Oh yes, you’re a god of grace and strength
I mean I hear the words you don’t speak, just by looking in your eyes
And in them I found a home, a place that I call safe
You are not bound by cultural constraints
A racial being with a universal mind, unspoiled by societal devices
So for you I’ll wait an eternity and a day more
